Why “Salt Forge”?

Salt speaks of distinctive presence (Matthew 5:13): the kind of life that preserves and flavors a culture without needing the spotlight.

Forge speaks of heat, pressure, and slow shaping. We believe lasting fruit in Japan comes through years of faithful presence, not rapid campaigns.

What drives us

A desire to see healthy, multiplying discipleship take deeper root
Experimentation with integrated models: family, church, community, and missional business together
A protective posture toward the people we walk with. Many of the real stories stay private by design.
Partnership with churches and friends who want to stand with this kind of work through prayer and giving

How support is used

Ministry giving helps fund activities that strengthen presence in Japan: hosting, care, fellowship, gifts, church life, and a modest staff salary that makes sustained work possible. As a registered 501(c)(3), Salt Forge Productions is accountable for stewarding gifts toward that mission.

Salt Forge is completely separate from commercial businesses we may operate or advise. Lodging and other commercial activity are not the NPO’s brand or money path.
